About TagOrbit

Last updated 31 October 2026

TagOrbit is made by ΑΦΟΙ ΚΑΛΟΦΟΡΙΔΗ ΟΕ (in Latin letters, AFOI KALOFORIDI OE), a company in Athens, Greece. The same company makes TagPulse, a tool that watches over the health of computers.

What is TagOrbit?

TagOrbit is a web application for companies of any industry. It keeps track of what a company owns, who holds it, what it needs and when. It runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, so there is nothing to install.

You start by describing your business in one sentence. TagOrbit proposes the categories, fields, alerts and departments that fit it. You keep, rename or delete each one, so the screens use your own words.

What do we believe a tracking tool should do?

We hold ourselves to a few simple ideas:

  1. Fit the business. A tool should ask what you run, not hand you a template and ask you to bend to it.
  2. Never block a save. Almost nothing is required. A record always saves, even when you only have part of the information.
  3. Say when a date is a guess. An estimated date is labelled as estimated and names the reading it came from.
  4. Keep the past. Each hand-over is a dated span with a name on it, and every change keeps its before and after.
  5. Your data stays yours. You can export it at any time, in a format other software can read.

You can read more about these ideas in why we built TagOrbit.

Where does TagOrbit run?

TagOrbit and its database run on servers in Nuremberg, Germany, in the European Union. Data is backed up every day. Every company's data is kept apart from every other company's inside the database itself. Our page on security and your data explains how.
